I will forever be a fanatic for a high heel pump, but a high heel pointed toe pump always pulls at my heart strings. That's why I'm beyond ecstatic to see them come back to full appreciation. They have shown up all over the runway, from Peter Som, Thakoon, 3.1 Philip Lim, to Prabal Gurang. Oh, lest not forget street style because that's where the true inspiration comes alive. The only problem I'm having is I can't find a great pointed heel pump at 5" unless I'm willing to spend over $500 for a pair. What's up with that? Aldo does have options at 4" but a high heel pointed toe pump is so much more with an extra inch.
